Delivery and Returns

Delivery

  • We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receipt of payment (Mon-Fri)
  • For UK delivery, items are sent by Royal Mail First Class recorded delivery, which will require a signature. Delivery times for first class post are 1-3 days
  • Orders can be posted directly to the recipient or to yourself so that you can deliver it personally
  • Next day delivery is available at an extra cost (due to the Royal Mail's guidelines on next day delivery we cannot be held responsible if the order does not arrive on time as this is out of our hands, it is assumed that this is understood when you place your order)
  • If you would like to send a gift outside the UK and your destination is not listed on the checkout page please contact us by phone or email and ask for a quote on postage prices.
  • Due to customs restrictions in many countries we are unable to add champagne to orders being delivered outside the UK.

Returns

  • We want customers to be 100% happy with their purchase, if this is not the case then please return the order to us in an unused condition with the original packaging stating why you are unhappy within 7 days of receipt for a full refund. Please note that delivery and return charges will not be refunded, please obtain a certificate of posting as we cannot be held liable if the package should go missing and proof of posting has not been obtained.
  • Please call or email us at info@thegiftbasketcompany.co.uk if you intend to return an item.
  • The customer shall be deemed to have accepted the goods if The Gift Basket Company has not been notified of any defect with 7 days of delivery
  • Boxes may occasionally get damaged in the post but this should not affect the condition of the products inside. If this has happened and the products are damaged in any way simply send it back to us and we will replace it with the same product or one of similar value if the original is no longer available.
  • If you wish to cancel your order after it has been confirmed please phone us immediately. If your order has already been posted we will accept it as a return but cannot refund any postage in the delivery or return of the package.
